Chris started in 1986 as an editor, gaining experience in documentaries, music videos, commercials, sports and corporate productions. During that period, he was the assistent for the international Steadicam operator Mark Koninckx.
That’s how he started operating cameras and the Steadicam.
In 1990 Chris founded CrewPower, a company providing crew, facilities and corporate productions. For more than 10 years, CrewPower was proudly working for Exxon Mobile BeNeLux.
As an editor, he was also working on documentaries for the European Commission and 6 years full time television programs for Dutch TV Broadcasters.
As EFP cameraman, the most experience goes to 12 seasons of reality programs, 4 European Commission documentaries of 52 minutes, more than 15 years of car racing on tracks and rally (WRC,IRC,ERC) and corporate productions.
As multicam cameraman, more than 20 years of experience made him discover almost every possible kind of broadcast. Here we would like to mention the Olympic Games of Beijing, London and Rio, Formula One, 24 Hours of Le Mans, Champions League Football, Rock Werchter, Tomorrowland, Athleticism Memorial Van Damme and more than 10 seasons of car racing for Eurosport.
His experience in handheld camerawork made him develop a camerabelt, which he produces and sells to cameramen, companies and broadcasters.
